Job Description

Your Mission: 

AfterShip is looking for an experienced Marketing Analyst to support our customer acquisition and demand generation programs with strategic insights. You will be responsible for creating dashboards and deriving insights to improve marketing campaigns, ensuring continual optimization of program investments. You are organized and results driven with a strong attention to detail and passion for continuous learning of marketing funnel strategies. Success in this role also requires coordination with cross-functional partners across the Marketing, Sales and Data teams.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations that drive insights to improve marketing campaigns and programs
  • Work collaboratively with our sales and data teams to define funnel tracking and reporting requirements to support the build of complex marketing datasets
  • Train teams on the terminology, definitions and formulas used for key marketing performance metrics and support questions ongoing
  • Provide insights on website performance, customer acquisition performance, enterprise lead generation and enterprise marketing attribution
  • Ensure all marketing dashboards and reports are of highest quality and have been thoroughly validated for accuracy
  • Regularly communicate with the entire marketing team (demand gen, content and product marketing) by providing data-driven recommendations to help optimize marketing investments
  • Drive analysis and insights for leadership presentations that lead to more informed decisions and improved business performance
  • Support the use of sophisticated analytic methodologies, scoring strategies and intent modeling to build a best-in-class marketing strategy

Who We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience working in a B2B marketing analytics role
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to understand complex data sets from various sources to define actionable insights for the business
  • Expert level experience with building complex datasets and dashboards in platforms such as Google Analytics, ChartMogul, MixPanel, and paid media platforms
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Comfortable presenting to internal audiences in both written and verbal formats
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills including the ability to accurately specify project timeframes, dependencies and risk factors
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities while giving excellent attention to detail
  • Resourceful, and constantly put your problem solving skills to the test
  • You utilize the latest tools to make your work as efficient as possible. You have a natural curiosity for the tech industry, and want to be part of a high energy and passionate team about to make history
