Your Mission: 


We are looking for a VP of Marketing that wants to make a real impact and help shape AfterShip to be the top eCommerce SaaS solution. You’ll be building effective and agile teams to generate inbound traffic, healthy marketing qualified leads and increase brand awareness across different regions (North America, Europe and Asia). Since 2012, AfterShip, without any marketing team, has been able to land 14,000 paid customers through innovative marketing campaigns. We are looking for top talent that can take us to the next level. 

You should have extensive experience of B2B SaaS marketing targeting both enterprise and SMB businesses, and managing teams covering product marketing, events (offline and online), partner marketing activities, PR, content, social media, email marketing, marketing ops, and performance marketing. 

This role will be reporting directly to the CMO. You’ll be working closely with sales leaders in North America, Europe and Asia, as well as the growth team (product managers and engineers) based in Asia. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Inspire and lead the global marketing teams to achieve ambitious growth through brand and portfolio building, establishing strategic positioning and development plans for global marketing.
  • Develop annual, semi-annual and quarterly marketing programs and strategies.
  • Design, plan and implement brand plans and campaigns to bring our brands to life.
  • Ensure effective and efficient deployment of marketing investments by working  with various channels and business units to ensure the efficiency and performance of our brand investments across all digital media.
  • Responsible for developing and managing brand marketing budgets, marketing operating expenses.
  • Continuously drive product and solution upgrades as well as iterations with forward-thinking market insights.
  • Work closely with various cross-functional and global teams
  • Build and lead the continued growth of the marketing team, spearheading the development of talent and pursuing capability development to ensure processes, capabilities and team culture are aligned and appropriate for current and future business challenges.

Who We're Looking For:

  • 10+ years of business experience, including senior marketing or commercial roles and people management job responsibilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the North American market, with in-depth knowledge of North American consumers, trade dynamics, insights and digital developments, along with a good understanding of trends related to our industry. 
  • Strong business acumen and commercial thinking with the ability to develop coherent marketing strategies related to overall business strategy
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to empower and develop people for high performance, ability to manage multinational teams and coordinate relevant resources
  • Strong ability to drive and manage change and improvement.
  • Experience in eCommerce or has worked in the SaaS industry is preferred. 

Languages: 

  • Full professional proficiency in English & Mandarin are required
