Job Description

Your Mission: 

AfterShip is looking for a deadline-driven Marketing Operations Manager to help the marketing team to continue moving forward. As an operational leader you will facilitate day-to-day execution, bi-weekly sprint planning and remove roadblocks as they arise. 

This is a high impact management position. As our Marketing Operations Manager you will help accelerate AfterShip’s growth by implementing and continuously refining operations and processes to help us scale.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Lead daily stand up meetings to identify & remove blockers, facilitate collaboration and keep the marketing team moving forward
  • Facilitate bi-weekly sprint planning sessions to maximize marketing bandwidth and ensure we achieve our committed deadlines
  • Own and optimize marketing processes, continually refining to execute efficiently
  • Support day-to-day marketing campaigns and program execution
  • Identify opportunities for automation to improve scalability
  • Update and maintain the marketing calendar
  • Communicate status updates to key stakeholders
  • Support our events team as needed

 

Who We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, with expertise in project management and campaign management
  • Strong preference for candidates with extensive experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Extensive experience in project management with a preference for candidates that have worked in an agile environment
  • Achievement oriented and has shown the ability help drive a team to meet deadlines
  • Project management certification is preferred
  • Process oriented with experience helping marketing team’s scale
  • Understands the big picture and can anticipate issues
  • A strong project management & problem-solving track record - ability to think critically through unique problems with no set playbook and quickly implement a path to a solution
