Job Description

Your Mission: 

AfterShip is looking for a finance assistant to support our daily transactions, including but not limited to expenses, sales orders and payroll.  As the team’s first local support in North America, you will be working very closely with the People, Sales and Marketing team to ensure that their local needs are being met. 

Reporting to the Head of Finance in China, this will be an opportunity to work in a dynamic global setting and the ability to advocate for the organization’s financial policies to our North American and European regions.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Complete, and manage sales orders within the SLA 
  • Assist with the monthly and quarterly sales commissions payout process
  • Review and approve expenses according to the company policies 
  • Ensure that the North American and European team members are able to adhering to the finance team’s internal policies 
  • Being the point of contact and advocate as AfterShip’s local financial support for NA/EU.
  • Daily additional tasks required by the Head of Finance. 

Who We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience working in a global financial organization as a finance assistant, finance specialist or similar role 
  • Experience with overseeing the expense approval processes and utilizing tools, similar to Expensify. 
  • Experience with Oracle NetSuite preferred
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or similar field preferred 
  • Proficiency in Mandarin would be highly preferred
