Job Description

Your mission: 

To write killer copy that moves people. You’ll make them look twice, read, and re-read the email sequence, and absolutely stop and check that brilliant landing page you’ve poured your genius into. You’ll also introduce them to wants, needs, and desires they didn’t even know they had. And for a final flourish, you’ll inspire action with magnetic CTAs.

You will:

  • Use your writing talents to create AfterShip-owned web spaces that attract, inform, and (most importantly) convert.
  • Ideate and oversee email marketing content for both current and prospective AfterShip users.
  • Be a copywriting guru as you nurture junior writers and mold them into unstoppable writing machines.
  • Guide and iterate your copy with A/B tests, data reports, and other digital marketing fundamentals.
  • Work with SEO wizards, product marketing masters, and others to deliver content that satisfies a multitude of stakeholders.

You have:

  • 4+ years of experience writing digital copy for B2B or B2C brands.
  • Proven success writing copy that triggers action and conversion.
  • A portfolio with examples of functional, effective, and memorable digital copy. 
  • Experience editing and nurturing junior writers. 
  • A history of working in B2B SaaS (preferred).
