We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Sales to spearhead our sales efforts in the North American market. As a key member of the executive team, you will be responsible for crafting and executing a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with AfterShip's goals and objectives. You will lead and inspire a high-performing sales team to achieve targets, foster strategic partnerships, and contribute to the overall success and expansion of AfterShip in the region.

The Vice President of Sales, reporting into the CEO, is part of AfterShip's global team. As such, there may be the need to work outside of regular office hours for team meetings or in order to collaborate with members of the team in APAC up to twice a week.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and Implement Sales Strategy:
- Formulate a strategic sales plan that aligns with company objectives and targets the North American market.
- Identify key market segments, customer profiles, and market trends to drive sales growth.
- Set ambitious sales goals and objectives and establish a roadmap for achieving them.
Lead and Manage Sales Team:
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team that consistently meets and exceeds targets.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and guidance to sales representatives to enhance their performance and skills.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales department.
Drive Revenue Growth:
- Take ownership of the sales pipeline and ensure regular reporting of progress and results.
- Strategically engage with key customers and major accounts to secure new business opportunities.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive customer retention and loyalty.
Market Expansion and Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities and potential areas for expansion in the North American market.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to tailor offerings to regional customer needs and preferences.
- Forge strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance AfterShip's market presence and distribution network.
Sales Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and optimize sales processes.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the executive team on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
Who We’re Looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of at least 10 years in B2B software/SaaS sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Extensive experience in managing sales teams and driving revenue growth.
- Deep understanding of the North American market and its dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and results-oriented environment.
